In 2018, the Kai Tak Sports Initiative was established as a community project of Kai Tak Sports Park to promote physical and mental health among the Hong Kong community through organising a diversity of sports programmes. Welcoming participants of all ages and abilities, its programmes also create opportunities to make connections and pursue active lifestyles in a supportive community united by sports.

Kai Tak Sports Park’s sustainability performance in the design and construction processes earned international recognitions including LEED Gold, 3-star China Green Building Design Label and BEAM Plus Platinum, among others. Additionally, the precinct is fitted with the latest energy-efficient systems to reduce overall energy consumption.

During the construction phase of Kai Tak Sports Park, we worked with our builder, Hip Hing Engineering, to implement innovative initiatives for sustainable procurement, waste reduction and efficient energy management, optimising our construction process and reducing carbon footprint.

Operations are guided by the bold corporate social responsibility acts and commitments of Legends Global, operator of Kai Tak Sports Park. Their decades of international experience ensure daily and event operations have a positive impact on the community and environment.
